Lamento is an experimental film that I directed, exploring themes of control and childhood through abstract narrative structures and visual language. The film moves away from conventional storytelling, using atmosphere, rhythm, and symbolic imagery to evoke psychological states rather than explicit plot. Through this project, I developed an authorial approach to filmmaking, prioritizing emotional resonance and conceptual coherence over realism, and using form itself as a tool for meaning.
