Wake Up! | Grip & Actor

IAA Film & Digital Media | Film by Jess Powers (2025)

Wake Up! is a short film in which I worked both as an Actor and Grip, combining on-screen performance with technical crew responsibilities. As a Grip, I supported camera and lighting setups, contributing to the film’s visual stability and physical execution on set. Acting in the film allowed me to engage directly with the narrative and blocking, giving me a deeper understanding of how performance interacts with technical decisions. This dual role strengthened my awareness of collaboration between departments and the relationship between physical production work and storytelling.
