Rocks | Boom Operator

IAA Film & Digital Media | Film by Truman Conner (2025)

Rocks is a visually driven short film where I served as Boom Operator, working in a narrative structure that ultimately emphasized music over production sound. During filming, my role centered on capturing environmental sound and maintaining technical readiness despite the absence of dialogue. The project highlighted the collaborative nature of sound and editorial decisions, and strengthened my awareness of how sound design choices evolve from set to final cut.
